An unexpected visitor under the bonnet

Another surprise occurred recently in the regular line of work, demonstrating variety in the roadside assistance game. 

At Digicall Assist, we manage a wide range of roadside situations, from flat tyres and breakdowns to the occasional unexpected issue under the bonnet. Every so often, however, a request comes along that is a little more unusual.

Recently, one of our roadside assistance operators attended a Mazda after a rather unexpected discovery. A cockatoo had somehow found its way into the vehicle’s engine bay and needed a little help getting back out.

The bird was safely removed from the engine bay, with both the cockatoo and the vehicle unharmed. With everything checked and clear, the Mazda was safely returned to the road.
